Can MYLO Send Sales Calls to Sales and Support Calls to Support?
A business number does not have to send every caller to the same place. See how MYLO can help turn a simple business requirement into an incoming-call flow for different teams.
Yes. MYLO can help configure incoming calls so different business needs reach different destinations. The customer-facing requirement can stay simple: “Sales calls should reach Sales; Support calls should reach Support.” MYLO then needs enough information to turn that sentence into a supported incoming route or IVR flow.
Quick answer
- Start from the business outcome; MYLO uses conversation to gather or clarify the information it needs.
- Consequential telephony work stays inside the product's permissions, validation and approval boundaries.
- The telecom provider remains responsible for public numbers, carrier service, capacity and provider-side conditions.
One number can lead to different teams
Sales
Send new-business enquiries to the sales destination.
Support
Route existing-customer help to the support destination.
Fallback
Define what happens when nobody answers or a choice is invalid.
One Number Can Lead to Different Teams
A common design is one published business number followed by a short IVR. The caller chooses Sales or Support and MYLO-configured telephony sends each choice to its destination. Another design uses separate provider-supplied numbers for different departments. Which model is better depends on the numbers and customer journey you already have.
Destinations Can Be Business-Friendly Concepts
The v0.35 incoming setup recognises three destination categories in its guided flow: extension, external mobile or IVR. That means the conversation can be about the employee or team outcome first. The technical route is generated from those approved decisions.
Plan the Fallback Before You Go Live
A department route is incomplete if nobody knows what happens when the team is unavailable. Decide whether the caller should reach another employee, hear a closed message, enter another IVR path or follow another supported destination. The busy/closed article helps structure that decision.
Test Every Branch as a Customer Would
Call the public number and try each path. If Sales works but Support does not, the issue is no longer “the whole phone system”; it is a specific branch that can be investigated. MYLO’s evidence-oriented approach is designed to make that kind of diagnosis clearer.

Custom Requirements and Telecom Responsibility
MYLO configures and operates the customer's local telephony layer; it is not the telecom carrier. Numbers, trunk service, calling charges and provider-side permissions remain with the customer's telecom provider. Where a requirement sits outside the standard MYLO package, MyLineHub can discuss it as a Custom Requirement.
Customisation does not override telecom-provider conditions, customer-consent obligations or applicable Indian telecom requirements. The final calling design must use services and number-routing methods that the business is permitted to use.
