Can MYLO Create an IVR for My Business?
Yes. Tell MYLO how you want callers to be greeted and where choices such as Sales, Support or Accounts should go. MYLO guides the information gathering and controlled configuration process.
Yes. MYLO has a dedicated Incoming & IVR configuration domain. From the business user’s perspective, you can describe the menu you want—such as “Press 1 for Sales and 2 for Support”—and MYLO can guide the missing decisions before the controlled configuration is applied.
Quick answer
- Start from the business outcome; MYLO uses conversation to gather or clarify the information it needs.
- Consequential telephony work stays inside the product's permissions, validation and approval boundaries.
- The telecom provider remains responsible for public numbers, carrier service, capacity and provider-side conditions.
A simple IVR request becomes a tested customer journey
Start With the Customer Journey, Not With an IVR File
“When customers call our main number, play a welcome message. Press 1 for Sales, 2 for Support, and if there is no choice send the call to reception.”
That is the right starting point because it tells MYLO what the caller should experience. The system can then identify the required number, options and destinations.
MYLO Has a Real IVR Domain Behind the Conversation
In v0.35, “Inbound & IVR” is a registered specialist domain with access to the authorised IVR configuration scope and IVR application state such as IVR instances/options. The setup stage for incoming calls specifically asks whether each carrier DID should reach an extension, external mobile or IVR. This is not merely a chatbot describing how IVRs work.
The Menu Still Needs Business Decisions
- Which business number enters the menu?
- What greeting should the customer hear?
- Which digits are valid choices?
- Where does each choice go?
- What should happen when the caller makes no valid choice or the destination is unavailable?
MYLO can ask for missing decisions, but the business remains responsible for the customer journey. For design ideas, see five simple IVR designs.
Create, Test, Then Improve
After an approved configuration is applied, test the IVR from an external phone. Listen to the greeting, press every option and verify the destination. MYLO also maintains IVR catalogue/event capabilities for the supported application experience, but a real call remains the best proof that the carrier-to-IVR path works.

Custom Requirements and Telecom Responsibility
MYLO configures and operates the customer's local telephony layer; it is not the telecom carrier. Numbers, trunk service, calling charges and provider-side permissions remain with the customer's telecom provider. Where a requirement sits outside the standard MYLO package, MyLineHub can discuss it as a Custom Requirement.
Customisation does not override telecom-provider conditions, customer-consent obligations or applicable Indian telecom requirements. The final calling design must use services and number-routing methods that the business is permitted to use.
